Burglars Target Two Shops in Kangan, Police Launch Investigation

Kangan, Jan 1, : Two grocery shops were looted by unidentified burglars during the intervening night of December 31 and January 1 in Kangan, located in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Reports reaching CNS indicate that the burglars broke the shutter locks of the shops and made away with cash and goods. One of the shops targeted belongs to Sajad Ahmad Wani, a resident of Panzin, Kangan.
Local residents have expressed concern over the rise in theft incidents in the area and called for enhanced security measures to prevent such crimes.
The police have registered a case under relevant sections and have started an investigation. “We are examining all leads and working to identify the culprits involved in these thefts,” said a police official.
