Chile’s President Gabriel Boric Begins Five-Day Official Visit to India

New Delhi, April 1- :- Chilean President Gabriel Boric Font arrived in India today for a five-day official visit, accompanied by a high-level delegation consisting of Ministers, Members of Parliament, business associations, and distinguished Chileans engaged in India-Chile cultural relations. This marks his first visit to India as President.
During his visit, President Boric is set to engage in discussions with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi later today, focusing on strengthening India-Chile ties. Additionally, he will meet with President Droupadi Murmu, who will host a formal banquet in his honor.
President Boric’s itinerary includes visits to Agra, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. In Mumbai and Bengaluru, he will interact with political leaders, business and industry representatives, startups, innovators, and technology leaders, aiming to boost trade and investment cooperation between the two nations.
His visit is expected to further enhance bilateral relations across various sectors, including trade, technology, and cultural exchange. The Chilean delegation’s engagements with Indian counterparts will play a crucial role in shaping future collaborations between the two countries.
President Boric is scheduled to return to Chile on April 5 after completing his engagements in India.
