Jammu, April 1- – Lieutenant General Rajan Sharawat, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Rising Star Corps, called on Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha today to discuss key aspects related to the prevailing security scenario in the region.
During the meeting, Lt Gen Sharawat briefed the Lieutenant Governor on operational preparedness, recent security developments, and measures being taken to ensure peace and stability.
He was accompanied by Major General Mukesh Bhanwala, GOC of the Tiger Division. The discussions focused on maintaining a secure environment and strengthening coordination between security forces and civil administration.
The Lieutenant Governor appreciated the efforts of the armed forces in maintaining peace and ensuring the safety of the region. He assured full support from the administration for all security initiatives.
The Rising Star Corps plays a crucial role in securing the region and addressing strategic security challenges. The meeting reaffirmed the commitment of both the security forces and the administration towards a peaceful and stable Jammu and Kashmir.
