DLSA Srinagar observes World AIDS Day

SRINAGAR, DECEMBER 01: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Srinagar observed World HIV/AIDS Day, today, at the Government Boys Higher Secondary School Hazratbal, Srinagar.
The event was held under the aegis of the J&K Legal Services Authority and was conducted under the supervision of Haq Nawaz Zargar, Principal District & Sessions Judge (Chairman, DLSA) Srinagar, and Shazia Tabassum, Member Secretary, J&K Legal Services Authority.
During the programme, Legal Aid Defence Counsels of DLSA Srinagar,Tasneem Kausar and Sehar Nazir, sensitized the participants about the significance of World HIV/AIDS Day, its causes, modes of transmission, preventive measures, and the importance of creating awareness to eradicate stigma and discrimination associated with HIV/AIDS.
The programme witnessed active participation of students and staff and concluded with an interactive session.
