Kokernag, April 2, 2025 – The office of Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Kokernag has officially issued circular regarding the opening of NH-244 (Nation Highway) Sinthan Kishtawar Road for light motor vehicles following clearance from the National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL).
According to the issued order, the road will be open for one-way traffic on alternate days. Starting today, April 2, 2025, vehicles will be permitted to travel from Kokernag towards Sinthan Kishtawar between 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. No vehicle movement will be allowed after 2:00 PM.
The station house officers (SHOs) of Kokernag and Larnoo have been instructed to ensure strict adherence to the order, maintaining traffic discipline and ensuring the safety of travelers.
