One Dead, Another Injured Due to Electric Shock in Ganderbal Village

Ganderbal, August 2x: A 25-year-old man lost his life while another person suffered injuries after an electric shock in Batwina village of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

An official told Srinagar-based news gathering agency Kashmir Dot Com that two people suffered an electric shock in Batwina village this morning and were shifted to the hospital soon after the incident.

One Peer Suhail, 25, son of Bahudin, was declared brought dead at CHC Sumbal, while Inayatullah, aged 24 and a resident of Dangerpora, sustained injuries from the same electric shock, he said.

Inayatullah was also shifted to CHC Sumbal. His condition is currently reported to be stable, he added.

Meanwhile, a pall of gloom descended on the village soon after the news spread. (KDC)
