Srinagar, Sept, 03: Unknown persons damaged about 1200 boxes of apples in Wachawhallan Imamsahib area of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Saturday late night.
Sources said that unknown persons damaged 1200 boxes of apples in Wachawhallan Imamsahib Unknown persons used battens and damaged 1200 boxes of apples which are ready to harvest during the intervening night of 02 and 03 September”, they added.
The apple orchards belong to Abdul Aziz Mir and Gulzar Ahmad Mir both residents of Wachawhallan.
Police team also visited the spot and registered FIR in this regard and started an investigation. (Agencies)
