**Div Com Kashmir Stresses Enhanced Coordination for Snow Clearance and Traffic Management**
Srinagar, January 4: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, has called for robust coordination among engineering departments to ensure efficient snow clearance and seamless traffic operations during winter. Chairing a review meeting, he emphasized the importance of proactive measures to tackle snowfall-related disruptions and maintain essential services.
Bidhuri directed immediate rectification of glitches in the Integrated Traffic Management System (ITMS) to optimize traffic flow and enhance public convenience. He also instructed the prompt relocation of KPTCL towers obstructing infrastructure projects and urged swift action on rehabilitation measures for affected families.
To address exigencies, the Control Room at the Integrated Command and Control Center (ICCC) has been activated, ensuring round-the-clock monitoring and rapid response to emergencies. The Div Com reiterated the administration’s commitment to ensuring public safety and minimizing disruptions during the harsh winter season.
Authorities have been asked to remain on high alert, with resources deployed for efficient execution of snow clearance and traffic management plans.
