**Secretary RDD Inspects Yatri Niwas Construction at Mata Kheer Bhawani Temple**
Ganderbal, January 5: Secretary of the Rural Development Department (RDD), Aijaz Asad, conducted an inspection of the under-construction Yatri Niwas at Mata Kheer Bhawani Temple in Ganderbal. The project, a G+2 structure estimated to cost ₹2.80 crore, is designed to accommodate 900-1,000 pilgrims during the annual Mela Kheer Bhawani.
During the visit, the Secretary reviewed the progress of the construction and emphasized the importance of adhering to the project timeline to ensure timely completion. He also directed officials to maintain high standards of quality in the building to provide a comfortable and convenient stay for pilgrims.
The Yatri Niwas is expected to significantly enhance the infrastructure for devotees visiting the revered Mata Kheer Bhawani Temple, one of the most significant shrines in Jammu and Kashmir.
The project reflects the administration’s commitment to promoting religious tourism and ensuring better facilities for pilgrims.
