*SSP Traffic Visits Qazigund, Conducts Special Drive; Several Vehicles Challaned*

In a bid to curb traffic violations and enhance road safety, Traffic Police Rural Kashmir on Thursday conducted a special enforcement drive in the Qazigund area, an official said.
He said, SSP Traffic Rural Kashmir visited Qazigund and inspected various naka (checking) points as part of the campaign against visible traffic violations. During the visit, DySP Traffic Qazigund (Kulgam/Anantnag) Mohd Aslam, DTI Qazigund, and other traffic personnel were present on the spot.
A focused checking operation was carried out, during which several vehicles were challaned for violating traffic rules. The drive aimed to ensure strict compliance with traffic laws and promote responsible driving behavior among motorists, He added
The SSP also interacted with drivers and members of the public, urging them to follow traffic regulations for their own safety as well as the safety of others.
