Kangan, July 5: A Scooty rider died after hit by a speeding truck in Kangan town of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
The incident occurred at Kisanapati Ganiwan area, police sources said.
They said a truck (JK04F-3295) hit a Scooty (JK16B-3357) rider leading to the death of the rider who has been identified as 28-year-old Ashiq Ahmed Raina son of Ghulam Muhammad, a resident of Mammar Kangan.
Dr Tanveer, who is posted at Primary Health Centre Ganiwan told KNT that Scooty rider was brought dead at the Centre.
Police in this regard have registered a case under relevant sections of law. The truck has been seized and the driver arrested. (KNT)
