**J&K Among Top 3 in PM Gati Shakti Implementation: CS Atal Dulloo Calls for Enhanced Planning and Integration**

Jammu and Kashmir has emerged as a frontrunner in implementing the PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan, ranking among the top three regions in the country. The achievement was highlighted during a high-level review meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo, where he urged departments to prioritize the integration of projects and add social sector data layers for comprehensive planning.
With 38 departments onboard and over 600 data layers mapped, J&K’s robust progress reflects its commitment to boosting infrastructure, governance, and connectivity. Dulloo emphasized the importance of real-time project mapping to enhance coordination and optimize resource allocation.
The district of Kupwara has been selected for a pilot District Master Plan under the PM Gati Shakti framework, marking a significant step toward grassroots-level implementation. The plan will serve as a model for replication across other districts, ensuring data-driven decision-making and sustainable development.
Officials lauded the integration of social and economic data layers, which are expected to improve planning in health, education, and rural development. The PM Gati Shakti initiative is designed to foster a seamless synergy between government departments, expediting infrastructure projects while minimizing delays and costs.
Jammu and Kashmir’s stellar performance underscores its dedication to national goals, setting a benchmark for other states and UTs to emulate.
