Srinagar, Aug 6 : An unidentified militant has been killed in an operation in Tangdhar sector in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, officials said.
They told GNS that an operation was launched by army upon receiving inputs about the infiltration bid being made by at least two militants in Amrohi area.
“A militant was killed in the initial exchange of gunfire, while another hiding in the bushes is exchanging fire intermittently”, they said.
“Body of the slain unidentified militant alongside incriminating materials, arms and ammunition has been recovered so far”, they further said. (GNS)
