Handwara, October 6: In its continued efforts to curb the menace of drugs, Handwara Police today carried out special raids at various identified drug hotspot locations across Police District Handwara.

The raids were conducted by different police parties under the supervision of senior officers.

During the operation, multiple areas suspected of being used for drug-related activities were searched thoroughly.

Police have made it clear that strict action will be taken against drug peddlers and persons found involved in promoting or supporting the drug trade.

The raids are part of the sustained drive of Handwara Police to safeguard the youth and society from the harmful effects of drugs.
