Fish Farm Allegedly Poisoned In Kangan Ganderbal, Farmer Faces Losses Worth Lacks
Kangan 7 April In An Unfortunate Incident at Ahmad Trout Fish Farm, Muqam Kangan
Yesterday 06-04-2025 around 7:00 PM, a distressing incident took place at the Ahmad Trout Fish Farm in Muqam Kangan, where some miscreants allegedly mixed poisonous substances into the water supply.
As a result, approximately 800 trout fish died, causing an estimated financial loss of about ₹3 lakhs.
A formal complaint has been registered. In this regard police and officials from the Fisheries Department promptly visited the site and official said
Legal action has been initiated, and a comprehensive investigation is underway.
The police are actively working to identify and apprehend the culprits. CCTV footage and other relevant evidence are being collected as part of the investigation.
