Srinagar, Apr 07 : An individual died and three persons injured after two vehicles collided each other in Bijbehara area in Anantnag, an official said on Monday evening.
The official told news agency Kashmir Bulletin that two vehicles which included a truck bearing registration number JK13 3646 and Alto JK01N 7002, collided each other near Fruit Mandi NHW Jablipora Bijbehara, resulting in injuries to four persons.
Identifying the injured as Nadeem Ahmad Dar, son of Nazir Ahmad, a resident of Sether, Khursheed Ahmad, son of Abdul Rashid, a resident of Khunmoh, Jasif Hassan, son of Ghulam Hassan Dar, a resident of Sangam and Irfan Ahmad of Mir Bazar, the official said that one among the injured (Irfan Ahmad) succumbed to his injuries later on.
“The other injured persons are undergoing treatment,” the official said.
Confirming the incident, a police official told Kashmir Bulletin that they have taken cognisance of the matter for further investigations.
