Rijiju, Omar Abdullah Enjoy Tulip Garden Walk; Launch Cultural Fest in Srinagar

Srinagar, Apr 7, : Union Minister Kiren Rijiju and J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah shared a serene morning walk on Monday at Srinagar’s famed Tulip Garden, Asia’s largest, during its vibrant seasonal bloom. Rijiju also met NC President Dr Farooq Abdullah, calling the experience “refreshing” and filled with “warmth and vision” in a social media post.

The leaders later inaugurated the Lok Samvardhan Parv, a cultural festival celebrating the artistic and culinary heritage of minority communities. Speaking at the event, Omar Abdullah highlighted India’s rich diversity, stressing that every citizen has a role in the nation’s development.

The festival, coinciding with the Tulip bloom, is expected to draw large crowds, offering artisans and chefs a national platform to promote their crafts and cuisines.
