Poonch, June 7 : A motorcyclist died after a motorcycle he was riding met with an accident in Mendhar area of Poonch district on Wednesday, officials said.
They said that the accident involving motor cycle (JK12A-3691) took place at around 1600 hours near Dharana Chowk Mendhar. The motorcyclist, Javed Iqbal (44) son of Abdul Hamid of Dharana was initially injured in the accident and was shifted to Sub District Hospital Mendhar for treatment. At around 1830 hours, they said, the injured succumbed to the injuries.
When contacted, BMO Mendhar Dr Ashfaq Ahmed confirmed to GNS the death to the person.(GNS)
