*Weather Update for the next 7 Days*

*08 March:*
Dry weather is expected across the UT.

*09 March:*
Partly to mostly cloudy skies are expected, with a possibility of showers during the second half of the day at a few locations, particularly in the higher reaches of Ganderbal, Bandipora, Kupwara, and Baramulla.
Weather in Jammu region is likely to remain mostly dry.

*10 March:*
Chance of light to moderate rain showers at many places in Kashmir, especially in the north Kashmir.
Similar rain showers are also possible in the Poonch–Rajouri belt.
Overall, no major weather spell is anticipated.

*11 March:*
Rain showers ranging from light to occasionally heavy intensity are possible at most places in Kashmir, and at a few locations in parts of Jammu region.

*12 March:*
Light rain and snow activities are expected to continue. But overall no major spell is expected.

*13 – 14 March:*
No significant weather activity is expected. However, isolated rain or snow showers may occur in a few places, mainly over higher elevations.

*Note:*
1. Occasional strong winds during this period could harm blossoms in some areas.
2. The higher reaches of Ganderbal (Sonamarg–Zojila axis), Bandipora higher reaches (Razdan Top–Gurez Valley), and Kupwara higher reaches are likely to experience the maximum impact from this weather spell.
