Group clash leaves several injured in Kulgam’s Kund, injured shifted to hospital, 10 Booked

Kund (Kulgam) March 9: Two groups clashed with each other at Masjid Sideeqi at Razloo Kund leaving several people injured on Sunday, injured persons have been shifted to Hospital for treatment, sources said.

Sources said that two groups of Barelvi Jamaat and Ahle Hadees Jamaat have clashed and beaten with each other at Masjid Sideeqi situated at Razloo Kund, in which some people involved in the clash were injured they were shifted to hospital for treatment.

“There was expectation to danger of a breach of peace. If culprits had not been arrested by the police on the spot, there maybe a fear of loss of life”, police said.

Police sources said that 10 persons were booked under FIR vide U/S 126/170 BNSS act and taken into custody at Police Station Kund.
