In a significant crackdown on drug-related activities, Kishtwar Police, under the overall supervision of SSP Kishtwar, Shri Naresh Kumar JKPS, continued their “War on Drugs” initiative aimed at eradicating the drug menace from society. As a result of these efforts, Today PS warwan recovered approximately 2kg 600 grams of narcotic substance resembling Ganja near village Mungli warwan and arrested one alleged drug peddlers.
On 8 November 2025, Patrolling party of PS warwan under SHO PS Warwan Insp. Zaheer Iqbal while performing patroling duty apprended one person from whose possession 2 kgs 600 gms of Ganja like Substance has been recovered.
The accused person has been identified as Abrar Hussain S\O Manzoor Ahmed Mahroo R\O Sheikhpura Inshan Tehsil Warwan . Case FIR No. 08/2025 under NDPS act has been registered at Police Station Warwan and accused person has been taken into custody. The investigation is currently ongoing on..
