In its relentless pursuit of inclusive development, the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra Center is making significant progress in Jammu and Kashmir, garnering overwhelming response from enthusiastic citizens. As the yatra begins, the Modi government’s commitment to inclusive governance is evident in the warm welcome it receives at every stop. The essence of Yatra lies in its mission to ensure saturation of government schemes, leaving no genuine beneficiary behind. Covering more than 3500 panchayats and involving more than 2 million people, the Yatra is a testament to the collective commitment to make India ‘Wakst’ (developed) by 2047. One of the main objectives of the Yatra is to inform the citizens about various public welfare schemes. , and the impact is evident as citizens of diverse backgrounds take initiative. The Modi government’s development guarantee, symbolized as ‘Modi’s Guaranteed Vehicle’, has been enthusiastically welcomed wherever it goes. In the last four years, several initiatives have been taken to increase social security and financial inclusion in the Union-administered Jammu and Kashmir. Modi government’s initiatives have reached out to the underprivileged, ensuring their welfare and financial stability. Financial inclusion initiatives include PM Jan Dhan Yojana With 27.35 lakh bank accounts, financial inclusion has become a reality for many in Jammu and Kashmir. In addition to this, the PM Thakurs Bima Yojana has enrolled 16.17 lakh people in Jammu and Kashmir, which provides critical accident insurance coverage. Further, with 6.57 lakh enrollments under PMJJBY, the PM Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana offers one-year renewable life insurance, providing protection to families. In Atal Pension Yojana, more than 1.77 lakh people have subscribed to APY, which ensures sustainable pension for the future. With the PM Swamidhi Yojana provided as working capital loans of over 32.54 crores, 15,633 beneficiaries in Jammu and Kashmir are now empowered entrepreneurs.
