Sheikh Aijaz Slams Ganderbal MLA: “Ganderbal Remained Voiceless and Powerless in the Assembly!”

Ganderbal, April 10:
Congress District President Ganderbal, Sheikh Aijaz, has issued a strong statement criticizing the current MLA of Ganderbal for failing to represent the constituency in the legislative assembly.
In his remarks, Sheikh Aijaz expressed deep concern over the continued silence from Ganderbal’s elected leadership:
“Ganderbal remained voiceless in the Assembly.
While every other MLA took a stand for their people—raising concerns both big and small—our constituency was shrouded in silence. No issues were raised, no voice was heard, and no meaningful representation was witnessed.
We had repeatedly warned that Ganderbal needs leadership that doesn’t just occupy a seat, but boldly speaks for its people.
Sadly, those warnings have become a harsh reality.
Today, the people of Ganderbal are bearing the cost of this silence—and we may be forced to suffer through five more years of inaction.
From endless traffic jams, to the worsening condition of the Irrigation Koul, to countless unresolved local issues—there is simply no one to listen, and no one to act.”
Sheikh Aijaz called on the people of Ganderbal to reflect and demand accountability, emphasizing that silence can no longer be an option.
