Budgam, July 10, 2025: Budgam Police arrested two drug peddlers in Narbal area and recovered contraband substances from their possession.Acting on specific information, Police Post Narbal raided a bakery shop “Royal Star” located at Narbal chowk, in the presence of an Executive Magistrate and independent witnesses. During the search, four sticks of charas like substance wrapped in corn husk, weighing approximately 124 grams, were recovered. The accused, identified as Manzoor Ahmad Sheikh and Fayaz Ahmad Sheikh, both sons of Mohammad Ashraf Sheikh and residents of Sheikh Mohalla Sultanpora Kandi Baramulla were arrested on the spot. The contraband was seized.A case FIR No. 109/2025 under sections 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Magam, and investigation is underway.
