September 10: With an aim to eradicate the menace of corruption and to promote transparent and accountable governance, police in Shopian have observed Brashtachar Mukht Week cross all police establishments of the District.
On the directions of SSP Shopian Ms Tanushree-IPS, Police observed Brashtachar Mukht week w.e.f 4th Sep 2023 and concluded today on 10th Sep 2023. The oath taking ceremony was held across all offices wherein officials took oath that they will play their role to eradicate the menace of corruption from public life in general and from public offices in particular with an aim to promote transparent and accountable Governance.
The oath at headquarter offices was administered by DySP Hqrs Shopian, at DPL Shopian oath to officials was administered by SP DAR DPL Shopian. Likewise, oath to other officers/officials was also administered at police stations and police posts. Moreover, awareness with regard to the menace of corruption/brashtachar was also held at DPL Shopian in which officers delivered lectures with regard to make the society corruption/brashtachar free.
