Strong Tremors Felt Across Jammu and Kashmir
Srinagar, Jan 11 : A 6.1 magnitude earthquake was felt across Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday afternoon.
National Center for Seismology taking to microblogging site ‘X’, as per GNS, posted; “Earthquake of Magnitude: 6.1, Occurred on 11-01-2024, 14:50:24 IST, Lat: 36.48 & Long: 70.45, Depth: 220 Km, Location: Afghanistan.”
No immediate reports of any loss of life or damage to any property have been on record, when this report was filed. (GNS)
