LG Sinha Reviews Yatra Preparations at Baltal, Stresses Timely Completion of Facilities

Ganderbal, June 11, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday visited the Baltal axis in central Kashmirโ€™s Ganderbal district to review the ongoing preparations for the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra. During his visit, he inspected the Disaster Management Centre and the Yatri Niwas Complex of the Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board.

The Lieutenant Governor assessed the progress of infrastructure development and instructed concerned officials to ensure timely completion of all projects aimed at improving facilities for pilgrims.

At Domail, LG Sinha also interacted with members of the task force and Border Roads Organisation (BRO) staff, who are currently working to repair and maintain the yatra track. He appreciated their efforts and urged them to maintain high standards of safety and efficiency.

He was accompanied by senior officials including SJM Gillani, MD of J&K Police Housing Corporation; Dr Mandeep K. Bhandari, Principal Secretary to the LG and CEO of Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board; Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir; VK Birdi, IGP Kashmir; Jatin Kishore, Deputy Commissioner Ganderbal, and other top administrative and police officers.
