September 11: Piping ceremony of recently promoted Head constables to the rank of Assistant Sub Inspectors was held during an impressive ceremonial function at District Police Lines Budgam.
SSP Budgam Shri Al-Tahir Gilani-JKPS decorated 13 Head Constables with their new ranks of Assistant Sub Inspectors. The event was attended by DySP DAR DPL Budgam Shri Owais Rashid-JKPS and DySP Shri Nazir Ahmad among other officers. The event celebrated the recent promotions of Head constables namely Mohammad Akbar, Fayaz Ahmad, Muzaffar Ahmed, Ghulam Hassan, Mohammad Altaf, Farooq Ahmad, Nazir Ahmad, Mohammad Shafi, Mohammad Ashraf, Kuldeep Singh, Farooq Ahmad, Bashir Ahmad and Mohammad Iqbal who were elevated to the ranks of Assistant Sub Inspectors.
SSP Budgam congratulated the newly promoted officers and advised them to continue doing work with more enthusiasm, zeal and zest and highest degree of dedication. He emphasized upon them that promotion is not only about upgrading the status but it also adds more responsibilities and challenges in the working team spirit in J&K Police.
The promoted officers pledged to work with the same zeal and enthusiasm in future also and ensured better public services.
