Reasi, Nov. 11 : A 15-year-old girl died after falling from a hill in Resai district of Jammu Division on Saturday.
An official told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that a tragic incident took place in Mamnkote Panchayat of Chassana area of Resai when a 15-year-old girl was grazing her goats and sheep some distance from her house when her foot suddenly slipped and fell down a hill.
The girl was critically injured in the incident; however, on the way to the hospital, she lost her breath, an official added.
The officer identified the deceased as Mahnaz Akhtar, daughter of Naseer Ahmed of Labher village in Panchayat Mamnkote.
The news of this tragic outcome quickly spread throughout the Mamnkote Panchayat people, transforming into profound sorrow.
