Srinagar 11th December 2023 : The Kashmir Advocates Association (KAA) extends its heartfelt commendation for the landmark decision delivered by the Supreme Court of India, upholding the constitutional validity of the abrogation of Article 370. The Supreme Court’s five-judge bench, led by Chief Justice DY Chandrachud, has delivered a momentous verdict that recognizes the legal foundation underpinning the abrogation of Article 370, which granted special status to the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir. Adv Waseem Gul, President of the Kashmir Advocates Association, hails the judgment as a testament to the integration of Jammu and Kashmir into the fabric of India.
The abrogation of Article 370 from the Constitution of India is a historical and momentous decision that will make the people of Kashmir proud, stated Waseem Gul.
