Srinagar;13 Mar. Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir V.K.Birdhi extended warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Jumaat-ul-Vida, wishing peace, prosperity and unity for the society.
In a message shared on social media, Kashmir Zone Police said that the holy day should inspire heartfelt prayers and strengthen the bonds of compassion among people. The message also expressed hope that the occasion would bring peace, prosperity and abundant blessings to everyone.
Jumaat-ul-Vida, the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, holds special religious significance for Muslims and is observed with prayers and devotion across Kashmir.
The police also reiterated their commitment to maintaining peace and harmony during the sacred occasion.
