Flight operations resume at Srinagar airport after snowfall: official 

 

Srinagar Jan 14: After 66 flight cancellations on Friday due to poor visibility due to snowfall and rains, authorities at Srinagar airport on Saturday said that flights to and fro the airport have resumed operations after an improvement in visibility and clearance on runway.

An official told Srinagar based news agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that “Weather is good and visibility is 3000 meter, all snow from runway taxiway and apron has been cleared, airport is resuming operations and our first arrival is in about 40 minutes.”

Pertainently, due to snowfall only four flights could operate on Friday morning, were AirAsia I5 709/710, GoFirst G8 259/260, Indigo 6E 6022/6163 and Indigo 6E 2981/2982, remaining 66 flights (33 arrivals and 33 departures) were cancelled. (KDC)
