Jammu, March 14: Director General of Police, J&K Dilbag Singh in his message has paid rich tributes on behalf of entire J&K Police Pariwar to fallen heroes of J&K Police and other security forces who made supreme sacrifice while protecting national interests of the country. He said that the nation is indebted to the brave hearts who served the nation and its citizens till their last breath.
In the backdrop of the Investiture ceremony held today in Raj Bhawan, he congratulated recipients and their families for this prestigious recognition and said that getting rewarded with such a prestigious medal is not only a matter of pride but would also serve as an important and memorable moment for the awardees which they would cherish throughout their life. He wished them good luck and hoped that they will continue to work with the same dedication in future also.
DGP also thanked Hon’ble LG J&K, Manoj Sinha, who presided over the ceremony, for honouring the awardees and families of martyrs for their service to the Nation.
