Kreeri, June 14 : In a shocking incident a minor boy was molested and then threatened not to disclose it to anyone in north Kashmir’s Baramulla village on Wednesday.
Official sources told Kashmir Scroll that one applicant, namely Zahid Altaf, son of Ghulam Ahmad Bhat of Mohalla Khawaja-Sahib Baramulla A/P Kreeri, reported that one person, namely Hashim Tariq Zargar, son of Tariq Ahmad Zargar, R/o Sultanpora Kandi A/P Kreeri, sexually molested his minor son, name withheld, at Kreeri on June 12, 2023.
The sources said the accused threatened the victim not to tell anybody regarding the incident because the applicant couldn’t report the same on June 12, 2023.
They said regarding the same case, FIR No. 69/2023 U/S 377, 506 IPC 3/4 POCSO Act stands registered in this P/S Kreeri investigation setup in motion.
