BANIHAL, Oct 14:
In a tragic incident early Tuesday morning, a father and his son lost their lives in Tethar area of Banihal, plunging the entire locality into deep mourning.
Reports said that 14-year-old Sahil Ahmed, who was ailing, collapsed in the lap of his father, Shabir Ahmed Gania (45), while being taken to the Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Banihal. Overcome with shock, the father reportedly suffered a massive heart attack.
Both were brought dead to SDH Banihal around 6:45 a.m., hospital sources confirmed.
The heartbreaking double tragedy has left the residents of Tethar and adjoining areas grief-stricken, as condolences continue to pour in for the bereaved family.
