*GOC 16 Corps conducts security review along LoC* *Lt General P K Mishra assesses operational readiness in forward areas*

Jammu, Jul : Lieutenant General P K Mishra, General Officer Commanding (GOC) of White Knight Corps, commonly known as 16 Corps, accompanied by senior officers, reviewed operational preparedness in the forward areas along the Line of Control (LoC) in the bordering districts of Jammu, Rajouri, and Poonch.

Accompanied by the GOCs of the Ace of Spades Division (25th Infantry Division) and Crossed Swords Division (10th Infantry Division), the General Officer conducted a comprehensive visit to multiple forward brigades to assess the prevailing security situation along the LoC.

Official sources informed the news agencyβ€” that the visit focused on evaluating operational readiness and reinforcing force effectiveness to ensure complete dominance of the operational space.

During the visit, Lt Gen Mishra was briefed on current operational modalities, threat response mechanisms, and the state of readiness to counter emerging challenges.

The GOC interacted with troops of all ranks, commending their professionalism and dedication. He motivated them to maintain the highest standards of operational readiness, vigilance, and morale to effectively address dynamic security scenarios.
