Skill Training Students felicitated in Road Safety Seminar

BARAMULLA: In connection with Road Safety Week being observed from January 11 to January 17, South Asia Center for Peace and Peoples Empowerment (SACPPE) in collaboration with ARTO Baramulla felicitated dozens of students at Rajiv Gandhi Literacy Mission Institute Sopore (SKILL DEVELOPMENT TRANING CENTRE).

The students were given certificate of participation
by Team ARTO Baramulla, and Umer Bhat, Vice President SACPPE. Besides the seminar an oath was also taken wherein the participants pledged to drive safe and follow road safety rules.
Speaking on the occasion, Syed Iqbal Hussain Director Institute said the aim to hold such events is to create awareness among general public and youth especially to improve the road safety measures and give an opportunity to all stakeholders to contribute to the burning issue in the society.

β€œObserving Road Safety Week provides an opportunity to all stakeholders including administration, transporters, commuters, pedestrians and public in general to contribute in reducing road accidents by strictly adhering to traffic safety measures to save precious human lives,” he said.
