Body of teenager, who drowned in river Sindh in Ganderbal, retrieved

Ganderbal, Aug 16 : Body of a teenage boy who drowned in river Sindh near Wayil bridge in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Wednesday has been retrieved, officials said.

An official told the news agencyโ€”Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the teenager identified as Haziq Imtiyaz drowned near the newly constructed Wayil bridge.

He said that soon after the incident a rescue operation was launched to retrieve the teenager from the river Sindh.
