Srinagar, Aug 16- :-Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kashmir, V K Birdhi, has extended warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami.
In his message, Birdhi prayed for peace, prosperity, unity, and harmony in the region. “May this occasion guide us towards peace, prosperity, unity and harmony,” he said in his post on X .social media platforms.
The festival of Janmashtami, marking the birth of Lord Krishna, is being celebrated with religious fervour and devotion across the country, including Jammu and Kashmir.
