Srinagar, Nov 16 : Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday expressed profound sorrow over the tragic road accident in Budgam that left four people dead and seven others injured.
In a post on X, the LG wrote, as per news agency, โExtremely pained by the loss of precious lives in a tragic road accident in Budgam. My thoughts are with the bereaved family. Praying for the speedy recovery of the injured.โ
The accident had occurred yesterday evening on the Waterwani stretch of the Budgam Ring Road, where a collision between a dumper and a Sumo passenger vehicle resulted in four fatalities, including a 10-year-old girl, and left seven others injured.
Officials said the injured are undergoing treatment at the Hospital while Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated a detailed investigation into the cause of the crash.
