Two-day day medical camp held at Machhal sector
Kupwara: Army in collaboration with Borderless World Foundation organized two-day Medical Camp on May 14 and 15 May for the villagers of Machhal sector at Sahi Memorial Hospital Machhal, Government Higher School Machhal and Government School Dapbal.
As per a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), thirteen doctors from Nashik, Maharashtra under the umbrella of Borderless World Foundation were part of this medical camp.
The team of doctors comprising General physicians, Medical specialist, ENT specialist, Orthopaedician, Pediatrician, Gynecologist and Dentist attended to more than 400 people including children.
Free medicines were distributed to the patients and a class was also conducted on nutrition deficiency in children and women at schools of Machhal and Dapbal. People were also educated on hypertension related issues and vitamin deficiencies.
In the evening, the team of doctors was instrumental in saving the life of a lady who suffered a heart attack at Thalli village. She was immediately rushed to Sahi Memorial Hospital, where this team of doctors resuscitated and saved her life—(KNO)
