Pulwama, June 17 : A 7-year-old minor boy was injured in an attack of a Leopard on Friday evening in Khankah village of Awantipora area in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
Reports reaching to news agency Jammu Kashmir News Service that the victim has been identified as Yasir Ahmad Bakerwal son of Mohammad Iqbal Bakerwal, resident of Rajpora Noorpora village.
Yasir was immediately rushed to nearby hospital PHC Awantipora where doctors referred him to SMHS Srinagar for specialized treatment.
Meanwhile, locals have appealed the concerned Wildlife department to depute a team to the village to catch the leopard
