Srinagar, Jun 18:A woman from Kupwara, who was critically injured in a road accident in Sopore, has died at SMHS Hospital Srinagar.
According to reports, the woman was injured after the vehicle she was travelling in skidded off the road at Syedpora Sopore. She was initially taken to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Sopore and later referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar, where she succumbed to her injuries.
The deceased has been identified as 45-year-old Fatima, wife of Fayaz Ahmed Shah, a resident of Maidanpora Lolab in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.(ANH)
