Budgam, Dec 18: Believe it or not, in Central Kashmirโs Budgam district miscreants from alleged Pathzanigam have cut down 7 HT electric poles of the 11 KV Feeder, depriving a vast population of electricity.
The incident occurred on the intervening night of 17 and 18 December. Police Station Beerwah has taken cognizance of the incident and registered a case under relevant sections of law.
AEE Beerwah told news agency that in a bizarre and irresponsible act in the intervening night of 17 and 18 December, some unknown persons from village Pathzanigam have cut down 7 wooden HT poles of the 11KV feeder.
“This act has hit the power supply of various villages viz, Pakherpora, Kangripora, Batpora, Chakerpora, Khandipora, Zoogipora and Lachmanpora, etc. Pathzanigam has around 160 registered consumers most of whom have not paid power bills for past 10 years now,”ย heย said.ย (Agencies)
