9 Army soldiers lost lives in Leh accident

Leh, Aug 19 (KNO): At least nine Army soldiers were killed while another was injured in a road accident that took place in Ladakh on Saturday.

Defence officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that nine Army soldiers were killed after a vehicle they were travelling in fell into a gorge nearly 7 km away from Kyari town.

The soldiers were moving from Karu garrison to Kyari near Leh, they said, adding that the injured soldier have been taken to a nearby hospital for treatment—(KNO)
