Two thieves held in Budgam, stolen property recovered

Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday said that they have arrested two thieves in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
A Police spokesman said, “Police Station Magam received an information that 02 persons were trying to sell gold ornaments to one gold smith at Narbal Market and said persons did not possess any sales voucher related to the gold articles. Accordingly Police party of PS Magam rushed on the spot & apprehended both persons.The following Gold ornaments were recovered: Gold Coins 04 Number, Gold Bangles 01 Pair and Gold Ring 01 number.”
The spokesman said that Further, during the course of investigation, it was ascertained that the recovered gold articles turned out to be stolen property in Case FIR No. 255/2021 U/S 457,380 IPC.Both the persons have been arrested in the instant case & identified as Ghulam Hassan Zargar son of Mohammad Ismail Zargar resident of Chichlora Kunzer & Mushtaq Ahmad Rather son of Abdul Rashid Rather resident of Waripora Payeen Kunzer Further investigation in the case is going on.
