*Hajj-2025 Vaccination Drive Commences in Jammu & Kashmir*

Srinagar 21 April , Hajj-2025 Vaccination Drive Commences in Jammu & Kashmir Under the esteemed guidance and supervision of the Worthy Director, Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Rather, Director Family Welfare, MCH & Immunization, J&K, the vaccination drive for Hajj Pilgrimage 2025 commenced today across Jammu & Kashmir, with a special focus on the Kashmir Division.
A total of 3,042 pilgrims from the region are scheduled for vaccination, out of which 1,586 pilgrims were successfully vaccinated on day first of the drive.
As part of the mandatory health protocol, two types of vaccines are being administered to the pilgrims:
Quadrivalent Meningococcal Meningitis Vaccine (QMMV) Influenza Vaccine โ additionally given to pilgrims aged 66 years and above.
To ensure the smooth and efficient execution of the campaign, the Assistant Director, Family Welfare, Kashmir Division visited the Hajj House Srinagar, one of the key session sites of the vaccination drive. Moreover, Dy. Chief Medical Officers/CFWO, and District Immunization Officers supervised vaccination sessions in their respective districts.
The Department of Family Welfare, MCH & Immunization reaffirms its commitment to the health and well-being of all Hajj pilgrims from Jammu & Kashmir.
