The strategic 434Km Srinagar-Leh highway was re-opened for Traffic on Friday after remaining closed for one day due to Fresh Snowfall at Zojila pass.
As per Reports The highway was closed on Thursday due to Fresh Snowfall at Several places of Zojila Pass including Bajri Nallah Shaitani Nallah, Sonamarg, Gagangeer,Kullan and Gund following which the road was closed as a precautionary measure, said a traffic official.He said that vehicles were allowed to move on the 434-kilometre road with the improvement in weather on Friday.
Beacon authorities cleared the snow from SSG road,now traffic movement restored from Minimarg towards sonamarg, said Police sources.
