*30 Kanals of encroached State, Kahcharie land retrieved in Kulgam village*
*‘Will be handed over to YSS deptt for development of playfield’: Tehsildar*
Kulgam, Feb 22: The district administration Kulgam on Saturday retrieved 30 kanals of encroached State, Kahcharie land in Sopat village of Devsar in south kashmiri’s Kulgam district.
An official told that the a team of revenue led by Naib Tehsildar Irshad Ahmad under the supervision of Tehsildar Devsar Raqib Ahmad Ganie, following the directions of DC Kulgam carried out the drive and freed around 30 kanals from illegal encroachment.
Talking to Media, Tehsildar Devsar Raqib Ahmad Ganie told that retrieved land will be handed over to YS&S department for development of playfield in the area which would boost sports infrastructure in the area.
