Kishtwar, Feb 22 An encounter broke out between security forces and terrorists in the Chatroo area of Kishtwar district on Sunday, officials said.
An official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a joint team of the Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police launched a cordon-and-search operation following intelligence inputs.
As forces approached a suspected hideout, the Terrorists opened fire, triggering an exchange.
